ReadingEach week we will focus on a particular reading comprehension skill, as well as vocabulary and a grammar / language skill. Students will be tested each Friday on their understanding of the skills covered.

SpellingStudents will have spelling homework Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night with a test on Thursday. Your child should be bringing their Spelling folder home on these nights.

Science & Social Studies
Units for the first nine weeks include Citizenship, Matter and Map Skills. Each unit will last approximately three weeks.
It is very important that students study prior to each Science or Social Studies test in order to be successful. Study guides for each test will be sent home in time for review.

Homework Policy
We believe that completing homework is an essential part of your child's instructional day. We expect all of our students to complete the homework that is assigned each night. Students will spend time in school completing assignments that were not turned in.
